J. C. Bartlett & Co.
6 McGregor's Court
To all clients of J.C.Bartlett & Co and others, On Wednesday 31st October 2018 I retired from practice as a solicitor, and closed the firm of J.C.Bartlett & Co. I have decided that it is time for me to pursue some of the other projects which 27 years of legal work have prevented… As a sole practitioner I am anxious to ensure that my client’s interests remain protected, and I have asked the firm of Munro & Noble (4 Church Street, Dingwall, Ross-shire, IV15 9SB; Tel: 01349 866777) to retain all of our Wills, title deeds and files for safekeeping. Not only are Munro & Noble happy to hold these papers without charge, but they are also happy to discuss any legal matters which you might need assistance with. Of course should you decide that you wish to engage another firm of solicitors to assist you in future then you are of course free to do so, but at least you know that for the time being your papers are being looked after locally. It should of course be borne in mind that in relation to files it is normal practice for them to be held for 10 years after they are closed, and then disposed of in a secure manner (such as shredding or burning). I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all of our clients for the support you have shown us over the years we have been trading. With kind regards and best wishes, John Bartlett
